Celebrating 21 years of maximising sales from partner networks
Whilst right now the uncertainty in the world is prevalent in everybody’s mind, we had quite a different uncertainty back in 1999. As with any start-up, there was a plan and then there was the reality. 21 years on the bChannels business looks very different to those start-up days.
In 21 years we have made many mistakes, made wrong turns, but importantly the business has been brave. We have learned, and we continue to recognise the importance of learning. The culture to strive to improve on what we do and where we lead our clients is as strong today as it was in 1999.
We have grown from a small start-up in the UK and matured into a global business with offices in every region of the world. I am privileged to have an amazing group of employees whose drive and desire to deliver great work positions the business to achieve success for many years to come.

Our co-founders, Phil Gowing and Matt Rowland-Jones, started bChannels in 1999.
Our story started in a small room in the back of a warehouse building near Oxford. Within just a few years, the business had outgrown this office and we moved to our current location on the edge of Oxford in 2009. A team of 10 moved in and with room to double, we thought we’d be comfortable for some time to come. Our growth meant that we soon grew beyond that room and beyond our one UK office.
In 2011 we opened our first international office in North America. Soon after we opened offices in Australia and Malaysia. For global clients we offered a local presence in all major markets.
Our journey has continued since then to adapt to the way we work today. We embrace a distributed working model that offers the best of office and home working to attract and keep the best talent. Our team works from multiple locations in the UK, US, Spain, Malaysia, Australia, India and Brazil.
Our services have adapted too. From our base of experience in channel consulting, we have grown a range of insights, marketing and sales services to help technology companies increase their speed to revenue and maximise their sales from partner networks. Over 100 employees deliver their international experience in local language to make this possible.
Over the past 21 years we have built long-lasting business relationships with most of the top global technology companies, including HP, Lenovo, Cisco, Dell, Microsoft, SAP, IBM and many more. We work exclusively in B2B sectors helping our clients to market and sell their solutions through Partner Networks to all business customers, large and small. Even very large technology companies need additional market insight and support in order to succeed.
